Inspiration

The inspiration for Verda's design, centres around the nature and characteristics of New Zealand's diverse landscape and the opportunity for outdoor living. The New Zealand landscape is an ideal source of inspiration for the Outdoor experience (or room) as its diversity creates the platforms for innovative design. The coast is the interface between the sea and land where time, erosion, weathering, and the constant ebb and flow of the tide creates soft natural sands or rugged rocky headlands and outcrops of distinctive rock formations.

Design is about asking the right questions, understanding the complexities of our processes and simplifying them, embedding sustainability into everything we do and striving to find answers to problems that we have not previously thought of.
