The Verda field testing facility is used to assess the long term performance of our products. This is a critical part of the Verda design process and ensures that we are constantly challenging the way we do things and thinking about how to improve product performance.

Decking Trials:

Verda extensively tests all its decking products –current testing includes:

• Evaluation of coating systems
• Stability NZ Clearwood-Durability and appearance of fixing systems
• Aesthetics of pre-dried and wet products
• Performance of different dimensional lumber
• Impact of board thickness on joist spans and overall performance

Safety and compliance:

Before any Verda product is commercialised vigorous testing ensures that they will comply with range of code specifications and we often test products to failure to ensure we understand the limits of our products.
