Beautiful design

We select the best quality of timber in terms of appearance and performance. Verda's patented coating technology protects the wood with a blend of natural oils and pigments to make your fencing more harmonious. The coating is designed to weather evenly to provide character or can be reapplied to maintain the new look if that is desired. The oil that we use brings out the natural grain of the timber and makes the veins of the wood stand out.

Robustness

Our fence and screening panels are made from solid timber. Verda New Zealand Limited is an integrated wood products company that has its own sawmill and processing, this means we control right through the supply chain of our material. Verda specialises in sawing logs to yield timber with a straight grain pattern. Straight grained timber is less susceptible to checking, splitting and distortion and provides a beautiful final appearance.

Natural

Our fence panels are mostly made of wood, a natural and warm material. The inspiration for Verda's design, centres around nature and the diverse characteristics of New Zealand's landscape and the opportunity for outdoor living. The New Zealand landscape is an ideal source of inspiration for the Outdoor experience as its diversity creates the platforms for innovative design.

The timber we use for all our products is radiata pine which comes from well managed forests.

Durable

NZ Clearwood is one to the most easily treated timbers in the world due to its relatively high permeability. The effectiveness of our timber treatment process is further enhanced due to the selection of clearwood. The use of Tannalith E, which is a new generation timber preservative free of chromium and arsenic ensures that we can provide quality guarantee from Arch Wood Protection Ltd (NZ) for our products for 25 years against rot and insect attack. The durability of Verda products are also improved through the use of proprietary coating systems that form a protective envelop of coating around the timber adding to water repellency, colour fastness and stability.

Quick and clean installation

Verda pre-finished fence panels arrive fully finished and easily installaed. Our fully finished panels are pre-assembled, treated and pre-coated so the only thing you need to do is the install them.

Made in NZ

Verda manufactures all its timber products in New Zealand using "best practice" approaches. From our sawmill in Napier to our manufacturing operations in Rotorua – product quality is paramount and Verda is constantly seeking more effective ways to enhance our processing and manufacturing systems to increase productivity and performance. Verda fence panels are entirely made in New Zealand from sustainably grown radiata pine.
