Construction

The Verda balustrade system is constructed from NZ Clearwood which was sourced from New Zealand sustainably grown plantation forests.

The timber was treated with new generation preservatives which are arsenic and chromium free and was pre-dried to enhance stability and reduce movement in service. The posts, top rails and bottom rails are laminated for added strength and performance.

Each component is pre stained for further protection and to give your balustrade a high quality finish and enhancing the natural appearance of timber. The rails and caps are easily installed using stainless steel brackets provided with each installation.

Installation

The Verda balustrade system is easy to install. Posts are located and bolted to the boundary or internal joists. Rails are attached to the posts using stainless steel brackets and supplied screws.

The panel is pre-constructed to span 1200mm centres. Where trimming of panels is required the rails can be easily trimmed and the balusters assembled to retain a consistent appearance.
